In this example the ramp shown is 5' in length. The two step rise/height is 12". When looking at the chart this indicates an 11.5 degree rise. Many length ramps will work, however you would like to have the least number of incline degree if at all possible. Determine incline your chair or scooter is designed to climb. Measure the distance from the top step or landing to the ground (RISE). Refer to the incline chart to find the proper ramp length. At any incline use ramp only with a qualified helper.
